My background is in marketing and brand strategy.
I started as a Fortune 500 copywriter and spent the next two decades working at the intersection of brand, growth, and business strategy, helping companies clarify their story, align teams, and drive measurable results.
Along the way, I helped build and exit a category-leading agency, served as a fractional CMO, and advised founders and leadership teams across industries ranging from professional services to complex technology organizations.
Today, I continue to work directly with a small number of consulting clients each year.
That work matters to me.
It keeps my thinking practical and grounded in real markets, real constraints, and real outcomes—not theory.
I’m the founder of Band of Misfits®, my consultancy, BOMCOM, the operating system for independent experts, and co-founder and CEO of ombu™, a men’s performance yoga apparel company currently being built from the ground up.
Building companies alongside advising them keeps me honest.
I understand both sides of the table: as the strategist and the operator.
